Sink or Swimming Lessons

We started swimming lessons this week.  In my mind I pictured the swimming lessons I was apart of, except I wasn't 9 months old.  The indoor pool was freezing!  Peyton did so well!  He shivered, and watched the other older kids splash and have fun.  About half way through the lesson he started to loosen up.  I wish I had a picture to share of him splashing and chewing on a ball.  He loves splashing around in the bathtub!  He is just not used to there being other people there!
In the above picture Peyton is eating his first Cheerios!  I think eating Cheerios is a right of passage for being a kid!  Once you are on Cheerios, you are on a path to childhood!
He always wants to eat what we eat.  We usually share... unless mommy is sneaking a chocolate bar without daddy knowing.  He also ate part of a blueberry Eggo.  Next week steak...
Jerome is supposed to have days off next weekend, I am counting every minute until then.  I so badly want a regular life, and live in the house we are paying for.
Peyton is 9 months old tomorrow.  I can't believe its only been 9 months, feels like he has always been apart of our lives.. and what the heck did i do with my time before he was here??  Being Pregnant for 9 months felt WAY longer.  I love that little guy so much!  He makes have a good belly laugh every day.
I took him to the YMCA kiddie care, while I worked out.  The first thing the lady said to me was, he sure is a busy boy.  I quickly responded, why do you think you have him?
Peace in the middle east.

Into everything

Well as you can see Peyton is helping me unload the cupboards.  Except that I wasn't unloading the cupboard.  Yesterday the busy body was helping me fold laundry by unfolding right after I folded it.  wow say that 10 times.  We have been trying to keep busy during the days, but its a little hard without a car/ car seat.  So we finally picked up a seat last night.  Sweet freedom!  We got passes to the YMCA.  Swimming lessons start next week.
I was looking through my photos earlier today, and I noticed that I have next to no photos of me and my first born.  That's why I put this picture on here.  It looks like he is posing for this photo shoot.  But I was just tickling his ear.  Its the way I make both my men smile!  DON'T be sick, they are both super ticklish behind the ear!  I know their kryptonite.
Now I won't lie, Jan and Feb, are my least favorite months of the year!  Cold, dark, no Christmas to look forward to. And the fact that I am very far away from my dear family and friends, makes this year much more diffucult.  So I have made a short list to beat those boo woo moments.
1) Go swimming with Peyton
2) Get a Chai Latte at a coffee shop
3) Eat my favorite summer fruits
4) Force myself to workout
5) Be Friendly to strangers, rather then pretend I don't see them

Well my sweet angels are sleeping, (I can say that cause they are the sweetest when they sleep) and it is my time to join them.

Full time Entertainer, part time baby.

This is Peyton, he is the first of what I hope to be many kids I have... well I am really hoping for 3.  My Husband wants 2.  Peyton is 8 and half months old, he is a solid little bundle of joy!  He is such a happy baby.  I can only count my blessings with this boy!
Right now we are up in Fort McMurray with my Husband while he is working up here.  We rented a tiny basement suite.  It costs the same as our mortgage, and its a quater the size.  Not to mention we have a couple acres at home, here we have 400sq ft.  no oven, no bed sheets, no high powered microwave.  We really cares though, we get to be together as a family. The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." Gen 2:18
I am that helper.  And I have 2 men that need help.
Today "P" and I had chicken noodle soup for lunch.  If you can tell from the picture he has a syringe of soup in his hand.  We are still mastering the art of drinking from a bottle, or anything that is a boobie.  I have found that drinking from a syringe he doesn't choke.  So I guess that is step one. On a side note he got his 3rd tooth yesterday.  Its one of his top teeth.  He hasn't quite figured out how to deal with it yet and I think it is bugging him quite a bit.  He keeps banging it on stuff, crib, table, my forehead.
Stay tuned for more baby/ family news
